Behavioral whatsitnow?

I study how hormones act on the brain to influence behavior: hence, behavioral neuro(brain)endocrinology(hormones). I look at sex differences within females, so application of my field goes all the way down to molecular mechanisms and all the way up to sociology. My day job is pretty awesome, but I’ve got to get my head on straight if I want to go further in academia, so I’m leaving grad school in May.

The plan

On this blog, you’ll see lots of pretty things or cool things from the greater world outside, and all the musings any personal blog is wont to have. I like Bioware games, and you’re likely to see some Avengers (the movie), Avatar: The Last Airbender/Legend of Korra, My Little Pony, Sailor Moon, and various superhero comics here, mostly for their aesthetics and the talented artists who explore them.
